After immersing themselves in the world of the competing directors, the members of the Professional Jury will award the Grand Prix 2010, the Special Prize, the Best Actress, and Best Actor awards. The short films will also be voted on by the Press Jury and the Student Jury. These six winners make up the prize list for the European short film competition, complemented by two awards given to films made in the region.
The prizes, accompanied by cash rewards or services, are awarded for a total of around 10,000 euros. The registration to submit a short film for the 10th festival began on September 23 and will continue until December 31, 2009, via the Short Film Agency platform, [www.le-court.com](https://www.le-court.com).
Films that can compete are those made after January 1, 2009, with a duration of less than 60 minutes.
Genres: fiction, animation, documentary, experimental
Formats: 16 mm, 35mm, and video (Details: see regulations)
The eight programs of the European Competition will once again guide the next edition of the festival, alongside a spotlight on Polish cinema and a retrospective on Nice.
The festival Un festival c’est trop court! will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2010; an anniversary in the form of a review, surprises, and new prospects. It was founded in 2000 by the Héliotrope association, which has been working since 1997 to promote and distribute short films in Nice and its region.
