The Supervisory Board has decided to appoint Dominique Thillaud to lead the second largest airport company in France following the retirement of Hervé de Place, who is stepping down from the Presidency after a 40-year career with Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, including 25 years as head of the company.

Who is the new “pilot” of the Nice company, one of the pillars of the Azurian economy?
At 43 years old, a graduate of EM Lyon and ISC Paris, Dominique Thillaud, after working in finance, was with SNCF Participations since 2002 as Director of Group Operations and member of the Management Committee. He was appointed General Manager in 2003. As Director of Corporate Strategy, Investments, and Development for the SNCF Group, he was the mastermind behind major development operations for SNCF subsidiaries and investments (Eurostar, Thalys, Kéolis, iDTGV, Géodis…).
Since January 2012, he has also been President of SNCF Energie.
For Bernard Kleynhoff, “It’s a rail and transport specialist who joins us. He will know how to preserve the interests of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur and those of our region, in a logic of co-development.”
