The 16th Lusophone Cinema Week coincides with a significant date not only for Portugal but also for the Lusophone world, the 40th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution.

This year’s Lusophone Cinema Week will continue its exploration of the cultural riches of Lusophony.
It will offer a selection of films that sometimes invoke the past to better reflect on the present and the challenges it faces.
After yesterday’s inauguration, the program will take place at the Mercury cinema in Nice, MJC Picaud in Cannes, with screenings in Mouans-Sarotux and Grasse (see program in the box).
Grand finale next Saturday at 3 PM at the Louis Nucera Library with a Brazilian music concert.
