Because there are still three more events for six finals, which will reveal the names of the last candidates who will gather next September for the second edition of the grand final “Chef for a Day.” The next final, where the dish will be trouchia, concerns territories 4 and 5 and will take place at the Koczur Ferry stadium at 2:30 PM during the “Nice Nord en fรชte” event, on June 6th. Then, it will be the turn of Ariane (Jardin Lecuyer) to host three territorial finals with Niรงoise salad and pissaladiรจre in the spotlight, on Friday, June 12th at 4 PM. Finally, the last final, for territory 6, will be held in the city center, at Place Sasserno, on Saturday, June 20th at 2:30 PM around pan bagnat.
A competition that has enjoyed great success at each of its finals, from the heart of the old town to the gardens of Cimiez and which always comprises a top-notch jury (chefs, cooking instructors from the Paul Augier hotel school, culinary authors, Niรงoise associationsโฆ): “All jury members were delighted to participate in the various finals and to engage with the candidates. It is also a form of transmission and a way to connect professionals and amateurs around their shared passion: Niรงoise cuisine,” explains Franck Viano.
