A unique musical experience: The Broc Festival 2026
From June 26 to 28, the Broc Festival takes place at the open-air theater with a different band/artist each evening. Friday evening you can listen to the Brooklin Funk Essential collective which plays jazz, soul, funk, drum’bass… enough to delight locals looking for a festive outdoor evening. Saturday evening, it’s Eliades Ochoa (Cuban music) who will sing. And to close out the festival, reggae band Groundation will come on Sunday.

Bérénice at the Cimiez Arenas
As part of the third edition of the Tragedy Festival, rediscover the iconic Bérénice on the bare stage of the Cimiez Arenas. This performance will immerse you in Racine’s play through the eyes of director Robin Renucci. The National Theater of Nice explains: “This Racine play is less a drama of power than a drama of love: it is a long farewell letter that fails to be written, leaving three people alone and devastated.“

Sakura Matsuri, the celebration of Japan
From June 27 to 28, enjoy the cherry blossom festival which this year is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the twinning between Nice and Kamakura. “For this occasion, the City of Nice honors the Japanese city of Kamakura for two days and will have the honor of welcoming Mr. Matsuo Takashi, Mayor of Kamakura, whose presence will celebrate sixty years of friendship and cooperation between the two cities.” Note: “Registration is mandatory to participate in workshops and lectures. Participation is limited to one workshop per person.“

Rediscover the Lascaris Palace through the eyes of artist Coun
This exhibition available from June 27, 2026 to January 18, 2027 blends Baroque with Nice popular culture. Through his works, Coun offers an immersion in his singular and liberated visual style, displayed in the Baroque setting of the museum. “By introducing popular and contemporary motifs in the midst of Baroque frescoes, Coun reactivates the original function of this decoration: to seduce, impress and tell stories.“

Saint Peter’s Festival at the Harbor
This traditional fishermen’s festival highlights the important role of the sea for our city. On the program:
- 6:30 p.m.: Welcome in front of the Notre-Dame-du-Port Church
- 7 p.m.: Mass at the Notre-Dame-du-Port Church and tasting of grilled sardines and local specialties at the bar
- 8 p.m.: Procession of fishermen and the Fifes and Drums of the Nice Region from the church to Entrecasteaux Quay
- Boarding of the statue of Saint Peter, the priest and officials on boats, Entrecasteaux Quay
- Folk dance by La Ciamada Nissarda
- Wreath laying at sea in tribute to deceased fishermen and sailors
- Boat parade

“Mythical!” Show for young and old
Immerse yourself in the world of Greek heroes and gods for an original and mischievous show. “Here, the gods have fun, invent and make mistakes, giving birth to colorful heroes, full of daring and humanity, reminding us that even the most powerful have their doubts and their flaws.” (TNN) Designed for families, the show revisits great Greek legends with humor, pedagogy and real scenic creativity. Each scene blends epic tales and theatrical finds, offering a moment of adventure and wonder in an immersive archaeological setting.

The AnimaNice Saint-Pancrace Center organizes an outdoor cinema screening to show Miyazaki’s classic “Spirited Away”. Ironman 2026 edition
On June 28, it’s the big day for Ironman 2026 participants. If you’re curious and an early riser, you can watch the race start at 6:20 a.m. at Ponchettes Beach. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. you can visit the IRONMAN store at the Expo Village. At 10:50 a.m., the estimated arrival of the first athletes at the finish line. The estimated arrival of the last finisher is at 3:40 p.m. The official finish line audience takes place from 3:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Finally, from 6 p.m. you can attend the award ceremony at the Open-Air Theater.

From June 28 to July 1, all screenings are €5 at participating cinemas in Nice and throughout France. It’s time to see the latest films like The Battle of de Gaulle, Minions 3, Backrooms, Disclosure Day, Ulysses etc… Note: this offer does not apply to 3D films and certain special screenings.
